The “Wool White Gold” cooperative was established in Arkhangai aimag within the framework of “ProValue” project of cooperation between MNCCI and the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). One of the goals of the project is to support the sheep wool value chain in Arkhangai aimag.

The members of the cooperative have been exporting their products to Germany since 2018, by making high-end felt sheets as well as fine garments from yak, sheep and camel wool.

The cooperative entered into an agreement with a German company which will process its uniquely fine felt sheets into jackets for exhibition at the Innatex – International Trade Fair for Sustainable Textiles in Germany in January 2021.
